Anindita A. Chowdhury, is the Founder and Managing Attorney of USILaw,
Inc. As a leading practitioner of Immigration Law, she possesses a track
record of success with over twenty years of experience in the field. Anindita’s
clients include Global 1000 companies, mid-tier companies and start-ups
in industries including Technology, Consulting, Manufacturing, Green Technologies,
Oil and Gas, Mining, Government Contracting, Professional Services and
Education. She also has significant experience in providing immigration
solutions for high net-worth individuals and Commercially Important Individuals
(CIPs). Anindita has enabled the formulation and set-up of U.S. immigration
solutions for some information technology leading companies.
Anindita specializes in Business Immigration and has in-depth expertise
in the full range of Employment and Immigration Visas for the United States
as well as for several other countries, including Canada, Australia, Singapore,
China and India, among others. She also has significant experience with
EB-5 investor visas to the United States.
Anindita has created and implemented multi-modal and cost efficient delivery
of immigration solutions and services. She has also been at the forefront
of using technology to deliver efficiency and cost savings through On-line
Portals and the implementation of Electronic Process and Procedure Structures.
She has also traveled to several U.S. Consulates around the world to represent
clients. Anindita also frequently conducts seminars for companies and
immigration symposiums.
Prior to incorporating USILaw, Anindita, worked for eleven years at leading
immigration law firms in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia; and also as
the Director of Immigration of a mid-sized multi-national Information
Technology company. Having been a first generation immigrant, to having
seen things from an employer’s perspective, Anindita has a 360-degree
view of the immigration process.
Anindita prides herself in being a dogged advocate for her clients and
ensures that each client case receives the highest personalized attention.
She has also infused her firm with the belief that immigration remains
a leading driver of prosperity and innovation and that putting the right
people in the right places within the right timeframe is imperative for

Anindita graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Washington College
of Law, American University, Washington, D.C. She also possesses a Master’s
degree in Government from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s
(Hons.) degree from Loreto College, Calcutta, India. She is admitted to
practice law in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Anindita is
a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), American
Bar Association and the South Asian Bar Association. In addition to English
as her first language, Ms. Chowdhury is fluent in Hindi and Bengali.
